About
Sandeep is the founder and executive director of Monsoon Company, a software development firm that serves clients including HP, Microsoft, Cisco, and Wells Fargo. Monsoon Company makes software the way a fine Italian tailor makes a suit: custom, quality, and by working with an offshore crew of really smart Indian guys.
He graduated in 1998 from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics (more commonly known at Berkeley as ‘oh-s*-it’s-senior-year-and-I’m-still-undeclared!’).
He is also co-founder and lead writer for badmash.tv, an animation studio based in Berkeley, CA and Pune (India).
He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA in a nondescript suburb. He went to a strict Baptist School for9 years, which explains a lot about his current state of mind.
Sandeep has been featured in newspapers such as the LA Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Indus Business Journal. His writing has appeared in Forbes, among other publications.
He also serves on the board of ProjectAhimsa, a nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment through music.
Sandeep lives in Berkeley, California with his wife, two sons, and A LOT of hippies.
